  We wanted to create a little Mediterranean oasis with deep day-bed style seating, a BBQ entertaining area and a very much-needed outdoor shower area that our family could relax in after daily surfs throughout the year. Bondi Beach is a busy residential area, so a private, secluded enclave was a priority. After some very friendly discussions with our neighbours on 3 sides, we were given the green light to increase our fence heights, creating an almost perfectly private area. We approached the wall like an art piece; it had to look and feel like an original centuries-old wall from our reference images. We chose every piece of stone for its colour, shape and texture, and carefully placed it to achieve a stone-stacked artisan look. After much discussion, we decided on Savoca and Crackenback Freeform.
